FAQs

The event itself is free, but should I bring money? Will I need to pay for anything?

Admission is free, fitness classes are free, kids’ activities are free, food samples are free, and speakers are free.
Food vendors will be selling freshly-prepared vegan food. There will also be other vendors selling pre-packaged foods (chocolates, jams, etc.) and non-food items such as art, jewelry, body care products, and home goods.
Beverages – including beer, wine, and non-alcoholic – will be sold by Pan Am Pavilion staff.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Indy VegFest is an all-ages event. Beer and wine will be sold onsite, and vendors will be checking IDs for alcohol purchases.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Indy VegFest will take place in the heart of Downtown Indianapolis. There is ample street parking (metered) and there are parking garages within close proximity to the Pan Am Pavilion (rates vary).
We encourage public transportation and carpooling! The Pavilion is approximately a 10 minute walk from the IndyGo Transit Center, and there are multiple bus stops within a 2-block radius.

What can I bring into the event?

Consider bringing reusable shopping bags if you intend to do some shopping. In addition to the food vendors, there will be small, locally-owned businesses selling art, jewelry, home goods and apparel.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and supportive shoes if you plan on participating in the free fitness classes which will be held outdoors on the Pan Am Plaza.
Please do not bring outside food or beverages of any kind.
